Around the world governments are looking to deliver economic growth while also ensuring that their energy systems are modernized, more resilient and less polluting. Electrification is a vital pathway to a decarbonized economic recovery. On the international stage, Quebec has been putting forward its expertise and best practices for more than a decade in organizations, partnerships and alliances promoting innovative and ambitious policies and actions to fight against climate change.

This event will focus on the history of innovations and actions that have resulted in some of the world’s lowest GHG emissions intensity, and ways that nations and subnational governments can gain inspiration from the Quebec experience.
