SUMMARY : Understand the political, economic, environmental and technical barriers and opportunities associated with strengthening the relationship between the Ontario and Quebec electricity systems, particularly in the context of the potential for wider collaboration between the provinces around climate change and transitions to a low-carbon economy. The panel is specifically designed to bring Quebec perspectives on these issues to Ontario. A second event, scheduled to be held in Montreal in March 2015, will focus on Ontario perspectives on these questions.

The morning session (8:30 – 10:30am) will consist of a public panel session, chaired by SEI Co-Chair Professor Winfield, with presentations from the following speakers:
